Juicing. To me its much more than just a passing health fad.
Why do I love juicing so much? I have seen the benefits first hand of what juicing can do. It promotes an overall, healthy lifestyle, and has made it easier to keep stepping in the direction of a healthy diet that includes plant based living. My husband has been able to get off his gout medication thanks to the complete and utter nourishment of his cells, and we have all been so healthy and full of vitality since we started. My skin has improved and I have lost weight.
It has taught our kids to love vegetables! I always have little helpers on hand to make the juices and they love drinking it. My kids now love veggies so much my 4 year old hugs the carrots at the fruit market!
Juicing raw fruits and vegetables every day is one of the best ways to obtain fresh, bioavailable nutrients in therapeutic, health-transforming doses. Juicing floods the body with micronutrients. The short-term health benefits of juicing include things like increased energy levels and digestive relief, while the long-term health benefits include prevention of chronic illness.
Plants are alive, and putting living food into your body will literally bring you back to life.
Add life to your years, and years to your life!

“Juicing offers many life-enhancing health benefits including a faster, more efficient way to absorb immune boosting nutrients naturally found in fruits and vegetables. It provides a way to access digestive enzymes typically locked away in the fibre matrix of whole fruits and vegetables. Freshly juiced fruits and vegetables are loaded with an abundance of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.
Drinking fresh juice can help us adopt healthier eating patterns. For those of us who do not traditionally consume many fruits and vegetables, incorporating fresh juice can be a fun and different approach to increasing consumption of these important plant foods for improved health and wellness and reaching your weight loss goals.
Juicing removes the insoluble fibre from vegetables and fruits. While fibre is an established, important part of an overall healthy diet, removing the insoluble fibre allows for increased absorption of specific health promoting phytonutrients including enzymes, while the soluble fibre persists into the juice. By removing the fibres and consuming fruits and vegetables in liquid form, we are providing a nutrient delivery system to our bodies that allows individuals who would otherwise have difficulty consuming whole vegetables, the opportunity to reap the numerous benefits vegetables have to offer.”
Juicing as part of a balanced diet is a great way to bring the life back into your life. We rarely go a day without juicing in our house, and my body craves it if we do miss a day. There are lots of good juicers to start with…. we use a Hurom cold pressed juicer to maintain more of the living enzymes, but it doesn't matter what you start with, only that you start.
Its something that I'm really passionate about sharing with the world because I know how well it works.
